My first year to handle a class was pretty unnerving because these are kids who are all hungry for learning and whose brains are sponge-like in terms of absorbing information based on what they see and hear and how they're treated, so you really have to be careful with your words and actions without being boring for them. Needless to say, it was a challenge for me. In spite of that being a challenge, I can never, ever, ever complain because there's nothing to complain in the first place! They always make me smile and laugh; they make my heart melt every time I see their improvement, it's as if they're my own kids. Simply put, this job is such a blessing it doesn't feel like a job at all. I love what I do, I love whom I am working for, and I love who I am working with.
So today, I was starting to be on a bad mood on my way to school because of some inconsiderate drivers that are congesting the road, but as soon as I entered the school premises and started hearing the kids shouting, "happy teacher's day" my mood shifted in a snap. :) Their hugs and kisses are God's sent to calm me down.
So here are the things that took place today's Teacher's Day:)
While waiting for my 10AM Nursery class, I had time with Pau, a Kinder kid, to take some snaps. :)
With early bird kids, Moe and Geoze:
With my afternoon class. This was actually a kuyog time: when kids would suddenly jump at you to hug you.
Kuyog time part 2:
I appreciate it when its the kids themselves are the one writing on the card. :)

It was a Sunny Teacher's Day. Thank You Lord for allowing me to serve in this way. :)
Here's a video my Nursery kids in the afternoon class greeting me. They're all adorbs!
