#JSAdventures

Once upon a time, I decided to revisit all my past travel videos with Jojo because I got a new laptop with faster, and bigger processor. But as I was going through all my memory cards, I got the biggest shock of my life (okay I'm exaggerating), but it truly ruined my mood-- I lost all the videos!

Friends and pops helped me out to retrieve some files. Thankfully I did manage to retrieve some so I immediately created a video of Jojo and I's adventures. It suddenly became all Sunny again! So here it goes! :D

There she goes again...

"Everything work together for the good of those who love God" - Romans 8:28

A week from now I will be taking on a new leap/risk and I'd like to believe that God is with me on this one. Everything just fell into place and that has always been the case with the Big Daddy up there; If it is His will, it will definitely happen.

I have prayed for this and still am praying for it. Everything will be all right as long we lift it up to Him.

At first thought it seemed bonkers and irrational but as you go deeper into the night, eventually the dawn will break, and everything will be clear. Puzzle pieces are slowly being in place for the bigger picture; His great masterplan for your life. :)

5:5

I am going to skip all the melo-dramatic shebang and just go straight with the 5 things I am grateful for-- to God from the year that was. And the 5 things I would be lifting up to God for 2015. :)

5 things I am grateful for:

1. That I am still alive. I went to through an unexpected surgery early March of last year. It was close to becoming life threatening had it not for my family and God. My family and Jojo are the best. They took care of me when I could not take care of myself because of what happened to me.

2. New adventures. I thank God for making me experience under water through diving.

3. Travel. I am thankful for the long and short trips he made possible for me last year. With the kind of job I have, I tell you, it REALLY is God who made all my travels possible.

4. Travel abroad with Jojo. Simply because it was our first to travel abroad together.

5. Leaving my job to start a new chapter in my existence.

5 things I'd be praying for (Faith Goals):

1. Getting a new job. I know I will, but still, I need His help and guidance.

2. Career breakthrough. While I would still love to teach kids, I am not closing door to other jobs that could offer me better opportunities.

3. To have the right heart and right mind when making decisions.

4. Maintain good relationship with God, family, Jojo, and friends.

5. More travels. While I am always saying I will not travel for 10 months so I can save enough for our November trip in Vegas, of course it would still be really REALLY nice if I could squeeze in short weekend/Holiday/ trips or hikes within those months of waiting for Vegas to come haha!:)

Let's all make this year count and and a Sunny one!

Intro to Dive. (Atimonan, Quezon)

As a sucker for all things outdoor, I have tried quite a number of activities. Some of them I never thought I'd dare to do because there is water or swimming involved and I don't know how to swim. But because pops and the boyfriend seem to be enjoying a lot under water and seeing their under water shots make me envious, I, the girl who panics at the sound the word swim, tried intro to scuba diving in Atimonan, Quezon.

We dived in Atimonan's biggest rotary emblem which they created
to serve as an artificial reef to sea creatures.

Not our usual backpacks.

My favorite shot of Jose. I was 20ft. under. Now that I think about it... Yikes!

With the owner and dive master of De Gracia Beach Resort, sir Greg De Gracia.

As it turns out, it is not as intimidating as it sounds because you all have the things you need to survive under water in your BCD (buoyancy control device) where the oxygen tank is attached. It may not be intimidating, but it could be overwhelming when you have to deal with buttons in your BCD and equalizing at the same time. It may overwhelm you but NEVER allow yourself to panic and ALWAYS listen to your diving instructor to avoid unnecessary accidents. You follow instructions and you are good to dive.

Singapore

It's just my second time to go out of the country and am glad I did it again with my family, plus a bonus, because the boyfriend was able to join us. Although we were not complete during this trip because big brother and his wifey had to stay for work, it was still a whole lot of fun because it was my first time to actually navigate a foreign country without the big bro's guidance. And while I am VERY used to backpacking, it's still different when you are traveling in a foreign land and your family puts you in charge of itinerary and logistics. Lo and behold, we managed to get lost a couple of times, okay, maybe several times but hey it's all part of the fun! :)

We  were also able to meet friends who are now residing in SG and who gave us helpful tips during our stay.

Visited Sentosa for USS and Sea Aquarium, Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay, China town, Little India, and Bugis. Als
o, I'm so proud of mama for conquering her fear of heights and rides. It was her first time to actually muster up her strength to ride a roller coaster. :)

We are just your average Joes so when we get to travel, it really brings so much joy because we know that it was all God who made us pasyal. That's why when a journey ends I never fail to thank Him because it was all Him. Thank You for this trip and thank You in advance for the next country next year! It's Sunny! :)
